A second application period is advertised for PhD training starting in September 2025. at ELTE Faculty of Science. 

Applications can only be submitted for self-financed doctoral training.

Application period: from 1 August to 15 August 2025.
Planned date of oral entrance exam: between 18 August - 26 August 2025.
Notification concerning result of application: until 3 September 2025.

Important points of evaluation

An entrance committee evaluates the applicants during an interview, considering

• general professional intelligence
• proper grounding and research skills in the chosen branch of science
• performance during the studies in higher education
• activity in undergraduate research and other scientific activities
• research plan
• language skills
